Privacy policy

The short version: we only collect the data you give us when you write to us, we use it solely to reply, we neither sell it nor pass it to anyone, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you like.

We are a company registered in the Netherlands. The processing of your data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and by the Dutch implementing legislation.

2. What data we collect

Only what you give us voluntarily:

  • Contact form and consultation request: full name, email address, phone number (optional), company (optional) and the content of your message.
  • If you write by email or WhatsApp: whatever data appears in that communication.

We do not collect browsing data for analytics or advertising. This site uses no Google Analytics, no social media pixels and no third-party tracking tools.

3. What we use it for

  • Replying to your enquiry and keeping up the contact that follows from it.
  • Preparing and holding the strategy consultation, if you request one.
  • Drawing up and sending you a proposal, where appropriate.
  • Meeting the legal and tax obligations that apply to us.

We do not use your data to send you advertising and we do not add you to any mailing list unless you expressly ask us to.

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form before sending it.
  • Performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps, if we end up working together.
  • Compliance with legal obligations in tax and accounting matters.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: a maximum of twelve months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Clients: for the duration of the contractual relationship and, afterwards, for the period required by tax and commercial law.

6. Who else can access it

We do not sell, rent or pass your data to third parties. The only parties with access are the providers needed to keep the website and the email running, which act as processors and are bound by contract:

  • Hostinger International Ltd — hosting of the website and of the messages received. Servers located in the European Union.
  • Hostinger International Ltd — email management.

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts and some resources from Elementor, which means your IP address may be passed to those providers for purely technical content delivery reasons.

7. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: find out what data of yours we hold.
  • Rectification: correct anything inaccurate.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete it.
  • Objection: object to our processing it.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit its use.
  • Portability: receive it in a reusable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise them, write to info@iavanzo.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month at most.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the supervisory authority. As we are established in the Netherlands, the lead authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

That said, the GDPR also lets you complain to the authority in your own country of residence. If you live in Spain you can approach the Spanish Data Protection Agency; if you live in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: an encrypted connection via SSL certificate, restricted access to the information and regular backups. No system is infallible, but we take this seriously.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at professionals and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 14. If we find that we have received data from a minor without authorisation, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or new services. The date of the last revision appears at the top of the page.
