The short version: this website uses a single cookie, and it is there to remember which language you are browsing in. We do not track you, we do not analyse your behaviour and we share nothing with advertisers.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a tiny file that a website stores in your browser. It is there to remember something from one page to the next: which language you chose, whether you are signed in, what is in your shopping basket.

Cookies have a bad name because many sites use them to follow you around the internet and show you advertising. That is not the case here.

2. Which cookies this site uses

Exactly one:

  • pll_language — set by the site's language system (Polylang) to remember whether you are browsing in Spanish, Italian, English or Dutch, so it does not have to ask you on every page.

This cookie is technical: it is needed for the site to work the way you expect. Both European law and the Dutch telecommunications act (Telecommunicatiewet, art. 11.7a), which is the one that applies to us as we are established in the Netherlands, exempt strictly necessary cookies from consent. That is why you will see no cookie banner on this site.

3. Which cookies this site does NOT use

We spell this out because almost every other site does use them:

  • No analytics cookies: we use no Google Analytics or equivalent tool. We do not measure your path through the site.
  • No advertising cookies: there is no Facebook pixel, no LinkedIn pixel, no TikTok pixel, none from any platform.
  • No heatmaps and no session recording.
  • No third-party cookies for commercial purposes.

4. External services the site does load

They install no cookies, but for the sake of transparency it is worth knowing: in order to display the page, your browser requests some files from external servers, which means your IP address reaches them for technical reasons.

  • Google Fonts — the site's typefaces.
  • Elementor — resources from the builder the site is made with.

5. How to control or delete cookies

You can delete stored cookies or stop them being set from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

If you block the language cookie the site will still work: it may simply not remember the language you chose when you move to another page.

6. Changes to this policy

If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this page and add the corresponding consent banner before any new cookie is installed.
